Meet Lanie Harris
Attorney
Growing up in Gaston County, Lanie knew as a high school student that she wanted to become an attorney to help those around her. With this goal in mind, she graduated summa cum laude from Clemson University with a bachelor’s degree in political science. Lanie then chose to attend Wake Forest School of Law due to its strong reputation for academic excellence. Lanie graduated magna cum laude from Wake Forest School of Law in 2020.
Before joining Harris Legal, Lanie worked for a non-profit law firm that provides free civil legal assistance to low-income families across North Carolina. During this time, Lanie represented clients in estate planning, Social Security disability appeals, domestic violence protective orders, and other civil legal matters.
In her free time, Lanie enjoys reading and spending time with her family. Lanie can often be found exploring the many beautiful parks and gardens around Winston-Salem with her daughter.
