Meet Zachary Harris
Raised in Cary, North Carolina, Zachary enrolled at Wake Forest University School of Law, drawn by its focus on practical experiences. In law school, Zachary found a home in litigation and trial advocacy. He was elected President of the Wake Forest Trial Bar and named as a captain of two of Wake's trial teams. His dedication to meticulous investigation and case preparation was honed early on through internships at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of North Carolina, the Wake County Public Defenders Office, and the Forsyth County District Attorney's Office. The ethos of leaving no stone unturned became his professional mantra.
Before starting Harris Legal, Zachary was part of a top-tier catastrophic personal injury firm, an experience that ingrained the virtues of smaller caseloads and close client relationships into his practice. At Harris Legal, Zachary ensures each client gets the attention they deserve.
Outside of work, Zachary and his wife, who is also a lawyer, lead high school students at their church in Winston-Salem. Together, they like to explore the back roads and small towns of North Carolina.
Zachary is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a degree in Public and Interpersonal Communication. He has been recognized as a rising star by North Carolina Super Lawyers and is an active member of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice. He founded Harris Legal in 2024.
